Paul Magiatis is the very model of a successful entrepreneur – imposingly charming, persuasively resonant and unfailingly entertaining. As the son of two illiterate Greek immigrants who couldn’t speak a word of English when they arrived in Perth during the 1960s. He fondly reminisces on his early years in Kalgoorlie and his family’s work ethic as they quietly amassed an impressive real estate portfolio. By 19, he had purchased his first home and continued to leverage himself until the bank said no. Now at 56, he has bought, developed and sold over 79 properties, more than several of us would ever achieve combined.
Paul is a Real Estate Triennial Licence holder, Financial Planner and Finance professional with qualifications in all three disciplines giving him a holistic approach when buying property.

Paul’s commercial sensibility and negotiating skills were demonstrated by his decision in November 2008, at the peak of the GFC, to negotiate with creditors and stakeholders to save one of the investments in the group of businesses he owned. In his own words. “It was tough and emotionally draining negotiating with so many people in one room, but in the end, we all agreed on a solution that worked for everyone. Everyone wants to win, and the magic is having them believe they have and get the result you want”.
